Issuance of tax forms for 63 thousand empty houses – Tejaratnews

According to Tejarat News, the head of the tax affairs organization wrote on his personal page: We made important understandings for the better and stronger implementation of the tax on empty houses. So far, for more than 63,000 residential units introduced by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, a tax claim amounting to 1400 billion Tomans has been issued.

It should be noted that until last year, a total of 500,000 records related to empty houses were provided to the Tax Affairs Organization by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, but apparently these records were not accurate enough. According to the head of the Tax Affairs Organization at the time, almost half of these records were met with people’s objections.

In this way, it was decided that the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development should start refining the data again, and apparently new records have been sent to the Tax Administration in the new months. It should be seen how much will be collected from the issued demand letters and finally judge the law enforcement path based on that.

But what can be hard to say about it right now is that we did not see a good performance in this field in the last two years, and even in some cases, the performance of tax collection in the field of empty houses was very far from the budget law.
