It is necessary to carry a currency transfer to receive currency at the airport

According to the report of Iran Economist, citing the public relations of National Bank of Iran, customers and applicants who are eligible to receive traveler’s currency who intend to travel abroad, must go to Erzi Bank’s branches to receive their remittance in person.
Receiving currency by customers at the bank’s currency counters (after the passport control counter) located in international airports depends on receiving a foreign currency transfer before going to the said counters.
Obviously, after issuing a passenger currency remittance, customers can receive the desired amount of currency when leaving the air borders of the country by referring to the currency counters of the National Bank of Iran located in the international airports of the country.
It should be noted that, currently, the maximum amount of travel currency that can be paid is 500 US dollars, and currency sales are not made to people with a legal age of less than 5 years and Iranians living abroad.
It is necessary for customers to go to foreign exchange branches of this bank to receive their travel currency remittance.
