It is possible to reach an agreement in the Vienna talks by the end of February – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

Russia’s representative in international organizations based in Vienna announced the possibility of reaching an agreement in the negotiations on lifting sanctions on Iran by the end of February (early March).
According to the report, “Mikhail Ulyanov” in an interview with “Russia 24” network said: “If the talks proceed with the same process, a realistic agreement can be reached by the end of February.”
He also added that preparations for the full revival of Borjam will take another two months.
“It will take time for the Americans to prepare for the lifting of sanctions and to ensure the necessary conditions for the return of traders to Iran,” Ulianov said. On the other hand, it seems that Tehran will need about 2 months to return to its obligations according to Borjam.
The Russian diplomat, meanwhile, expressed hope that the UN Security Council would be revived before the end of next April and that US oil sanctions against Iran would be lifted.
“I do not know when the Iranians and the Americans will sit at the negotiating table, but I think it will happen in a relatively short time,” Ulyanov said of possible direct talks between Iran and the United States.
Russia’s Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had already announced on Wednesday that a collective effort was under way to draft the Vienna talks in the form of all current members of the UN Security Council (except the United States).
Russia’s envoy to the Vienna talks tweeted: “A collective effort to draft the Vienna talks in the form of all current members of the UN Security Council (excluding the United States, whose status in the nuclear deal has not yet been restored).”
It is worth mentioning that the eighth round of talks on lifting the sanctions started on January 27 with the holding of a meeting of the Joint Commission chaired by Ali Bagheri, Senior Negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Enrique Moo, EU Deputy Foreign Minister, and is still ongoing. Westerners are creating psychological tensions by resorting to time-consuming tactics and setting fake deadlines for ending negotiations.
