Also, in this meeting, Sedjavad Mousavi, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi pointed to the law on the formation of cultural heritage associations and said: Bazeh Hor is the first work from Khorasan that was registered in the list of national monuments of Iran in 1310.
He added: So far, 1964 historical, cultural, sites, hills, natural and intangible works from Razavi Khorasan have been registered in the list of Iran’s national cultural heritage.
Mousavi stated that the first cultural heritage association of Iran was formed in Neyshabur in 1325, and said: in line with the implementation of the law on the establishment of cultural heritage associations in the villages, districts and cities of the province, so far, out of 33 cities of Razavi Khorasan, cultural heritage associations have been formed in 21 cities.
He said about the research measures related to Imam Reza (a.s.): The migration route of Imam Reza (a.s.) from Madinah to Marv has been researched and several scientific and research conferences have been held under the title of the road of the province.
Mousavi said: “Events have been defined along this route, and special programs are held in Neishabur every year.”
In this meeting, Ehsan Zohravandi, acting deputy of cultural heritage of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi, reminded that: although the province has historical monuments registered in the list of national monuments in 1963, 23 billion Tomans have been allocated for them.
Mehdi Alipour Mohammadieh, the head of cultural heritage associations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi, said in this meeting: 1156 villages in the province have the conditions to form a cultural heritage association, which has been formed in 562 villages so far.
He continued: Currently, there are 3,550 members in the cultural heritage associations of the province, of which 2,750 are men and 305 are women, of course, in Tuzandejan village of Firuzeh city, all the members of the association are women, and there are very good cultural programs. are also implemented with a family focus.
Referring to the role of cultural heritage associations in the protection of historical monuments, Alipour Mohammadieh said: With the cooperation of the members of the associations, a number of 1,745 historical and cultural objects were discovered and 52 cases of unauthorized excavations were prevented.
He said: Also, 10 cases of preventing the destruction of historical monuments, 167 cases of preventing unauthorized digging, and the discovery of 27 metal detectors and the arrest of 158 unauthorized diggers were among the other cooperations of the members of the Cultural Heritage Association.
The head of cultural heritage associations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi mentioned: With the cooperation of cultural heritage associations, 30% of care visits have increased, which has reduced 10% of crimes in this area.
Also, Colonel Mohammad Ali, the commander of Khorasan Cultural Heritage Protection Unit, Razavi pointed to the role of cultural heritage associations in the preservation and maintenance of historical and cultural monuments and said: Associations are a powerful arm in the preservation and protection of historical monuments and have played a very effective role so far.
He emphasized: the officials in the cities should be fully familiar with the importance and necessity of preserving historical monuments and the laws related to historical monuments, some officials in the cities are unaware of the laws and the importance of cultural heritage.
Musa Al-Reza Haji Beglu, the spokesman of the Islamic Council of Mashhad, also said in this meeting: The Islamic Council of Mashhad considers the protection of historical and cultural monuments as one of its duties, and we are ready to acquire the historical buildings of Mashhad in line with the laws of cultural heritage protection.
He reminded: The Islamic Council of Mashhad has allocated 30 billion Tomans in this year’s budget for the historical city of Tos.
Also, Javad Asghari, acting head of Mashhad Municipality, stated in this meeting: Mashhad Municipality complies with the requirements of cultural heritage regarding the prohibitions of historical monuments, but some historical monuments were not registered in the list of national monuments at the time of issuing permits by the municipality, and they face challenges after registration.
He added: Some constructions are done illegally in the historic areas, and the municipality is ready to prevent these constructions along with the cultural heritage.
Asghari stated: We are ready to have all-round cooperation to interact with the cultural heritage to preserve the historical and identity monuments of the city of Mashhad.
