James Cameron in one step of remaking history / “Avatar” is approaching the record of two billion dollars!

With an international gross of more than $1.19 billion, the film is the fifth-biggest international opening behind “Avatar,” “Avengers: Endgame,” “Titanic,” and “Avengers: Infinity War.” This means that James Cameron himself owns three of the five best-selling international releases of all time.

“I don’t think about it in those terms (that sales alone matter to me),” Cameron said when referring to Avatar’s announced sales and record numbers.
