The representative of the honorable people of Gorgan and Aqqala in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, following the joint meeting of managers and activists of the Iraqi tourism industry, managers of professional associations of travel services offices with the heads of tourism communities in the province, said: “Reach for tourism in Golestan province and Iraq.”

The head of the tourism faction of the Iraqi parliament expressed hope that visa facilitation and the establishment of direct flights between Golestan province and Iraq, which were among the decisions of the meeting, would be implemented.

“The main factor in facilitating the entry of tourists to the province is to solve the challenge and facilitate travel between the two countries,” said the head of the Najaf Ashraf Hoteliers Association and one of the directors of an active tourism agency in Iraq.

“As travel agencies, we should facilitate communication between the two countries in the field of tourism,” said Saeb Ghanem. »

“Tourism interactions between Iran and Iraq should take place through the travel services offices of the two countries,” he stressed.

“We are ready to sign contracts with tourism companies under the supervision of the Iranian Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts,” said the head of the Najaf Ashraf Hoteliers Association.

The Iranian government is determined to use the private sector in the field of tourism between Iraq and Iran

The head of the Association of Air Travel and Tourism Services Offices in a joint meeting of managers and activists of the tourism industry in Iraq, managers of professional associations of travel services offices with heads of tourism communities in Golestan province, said: “Holding this meeting shows the serious determination of the government and sector “The country’s private sector is developing tourism.”

Harmatullah Rafiei further expressed his hope that this new movement in Golestan province and hosting the tourism offices of the target countries and trade unions of other provinces, will be expanded in the country and will pave the way for tourism development.

“The fertile Golestan province, with its excellent recreational attractions as well as its proximity to the holy city of Mashhad, is a good capacity for Iraqi travel services and tourist offices,” he said.

“I hope that with the implementation of the agreements of these specialized meetings and its proper implementation, we will see the establishment of tourism development between Iran and Iraq,” he said.

Golestan province is a new destination for tourist tours in Iraq
