“Joseph Burrell’s” opinion about today’s negotiations to lift the sanctions in Doha – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, “Joseph Burrell”, the foreign policy official of the European Union, explained his views on today’s talks on the lifting of anti-Iranian sanctions in Doha, Qatar, in a Twitter message.
The official of the European Union’s foreign policy wrote in this regard: After my consultations in Tehran, my team is present in Doha from today to coordinate and facilitate indirect exchanges between the American and Iranian negotiators.
He further added: The purpose of the negotiations is to advance the work to return to a fully operational and executive JCPOA.
This is despite the fact that an hour ago, “Peter Stano”, the spokesperson of “Joseph Burrell” in charge of foreign policy of the European Union, reacted to the start of the Doha meeting with the aim of lifting anti-Iranian sanctions in a press conference in Brussels.
The spokesperson of “Joseph Burrell” in charge of foreign policy of the European Union said in this regard: What is going on in Qatar is the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, which was facilitated by the European Union. This is the issue that was announced by “Joseph Burrell” during his trip to Tehran on Saturday. During this trip, he said that he managed to break the deadlock in the negotiation process. As the first step at this stage, indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States will be held on how to move forward so that the United States eventually joins the JCPOA.
Peter Stano, in response to the Kuwait News Agency’s reporter’s question about the time of the resumption of negotiations in Vienna, said: “Time is not in our favor and we must move forward very quickly.” It is not up to the European Union or JCPOA coordinator Joseph Burrell to determine the pace of talks. Everything depends on the will of the participants to find the way forward and the necessary agreement on the final issues. We would like this matter to proceed as quickly as possible, but according to the procedure of diplomacy, let us proceed step by step and see what the outcome of the Doha negotiations will be, and then we hope that the possibility of holding a meeting of the participants to continue the Vienna negotiations will be provided very soon. .
It should be mentioned that after a 3-month hiatus, the negotiations to lift the sanctions began with the presence of representatives of Iran and the United States, with a bilateral meeting between Ali Bagheri, the chief negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Enrique Mora, the coordinator of the negotiations, in Doha, Qatar at 1:00 am.
