Kahr Khazar – Siri in Iran

Statistics show that beyond the scope of the sanitization plan, the sea of Mazandaran has spread its trap for victims. Victims who have confused the reality of the sea and its rip currents with the calm turbulence of swimming pools and lost their lives due to this mistake. Sanitizing the sea plan is an effort to save the lives of travelers who are unfamiliar with the art of swimming in the sea of Mazandaran. Ignoring this plan and sometimes taking arbitrary action brings irreparable consequences and effects every year.
According to the official statistics of the Forensic Medicine Organization of the country, in 1401, one thousand and 152 people died due to drowning in the country. This rate decreased by 1.1 percent compared to 1400, but it is still a high figure. Out of this amount, 939 were men and 213 were women. While the number of men who died due to drowning in 1400 was more than this amount and equal to one thousand and eight people and the number of women was less than this amount and equal to 157 people.
Also, in 1401, the most drowning deaths were in the provinces of Mazandaran with 161 people, Gilan with 119 people, Khuzestan with 98 people, and Fars with 97 people.
The statistics of the country’s Forensic Medicine Organization say that 556 people lost their lives in summer out of the total number of drowning deaths in 1401, which is 48.3% of the total drowning deaths of that year. On the other hand, the highest number of drownings with 269 people was recorded in August and the lowest with 32 people in February.
Also, according to the opinion of experts and those involved in the operational field of rescue and rescue, 98% of the drowned drowned outside the sea plan on the shores of the Caspian Sea in Mazandaran, and most of these people were non-native.
Swimming outside of the sea, regardless of its depth and width, not being familiar with the technique of swimming, and not knowing the difference between swimming in the sea and swimming pool have been declared as the causes of drowning.
Mazandaran Governorate together with institutions such as Red Crescent, Sports and Youth, the General Department of Social Affairs of the Governorate, as the ones involved in the implementation of the Sea Sanitation Project, will start the implementation of this project at the same time as the beginning of the summer season and the peak of the number of travelers, and it will continue until the end of the summer. they give.
Choosing points of the sea, placing equipment and human resources as lifeguards within the scope of the implementation of the sea sanitization plan creates an opportunity to swim without worries.
But there are people who are involved and have this idea to swim within the scope of the sea sanitation plan and outside of it, with the idea that outside the sea plan there is no lifeguard and whistle to warn, the dangerous option of swimming outside the sea sanitation plan They choose the sea.
While each person is considered the main factor for self-care and such actions cause harm to people, which is caused by their own decision.
This year as well, in more than 550 points of the sea shores in Mazandaran, the sea sanitization plan is being implemented to provide a safe environment for travelers and tourists to swim in 447 kilometers of the shores of the Caspian Sea in Mazandaran.
As a province that hosts the largest number of travelers during the year, the efforts of Mazandaran authorities to maintain the safety of people’s lives on the sea coast from the risk of drowning is not limited to taking the necessary measures to deploy lifeguards in accident-prone areas, and measures beyond this issue have taken every year.
The launch of the intelligent coastal management system or GIS project on the shores of the Caspian Sea in Mazandaran, at this stage, 300 lifeguards of the province were equipped with this system.
The lifeguards stationed on the shores of Sound in the face of marine accidents, with the training they have seen, perform cardiac resuscitation and CPR operations before the Red Crescent and emergency arrive on the scene, which plays a big role in the survival of the diver.
This system has increased the speed of providing services to people who have had an accident on the beaches, and the golden opportunity to provide services in these cases is not lost. According to the head of Mazandaran lifeguard board, using this system has shown its positive effects in reducing the number of drownings in recent holidays.
With all these qualities and providing the necessary infrastructure, Mazandaran, with its green forests and blue sea, annually hosts the presence of millions of travelers from all over the country, but what can make a good memory for travelers is the consideration of safety tips on your part. People are the issue that Mazandaran relief and rescue officials emphasize and say: not only the province but also the country does not have such a rescue force that can use force in all forest areas and sea coasts or other tourist spots to People do not have an accident.
They stated: In all these cases, what becomes a powerful and effective tool in controlling and preventing accidents is the observance of safety tips by the people themselves and in a way their self-monitoring.
The head of the Mazandaran lifeguard board added on Monday: Every year, more than a thousand lifeguards are stationed on the beaches during the implementation of the sea sanitation plan to warn people about the dangers of swimming in the sea.
Naghi Karimian added: In the meantime, people enter the sea in areas where swimming is prohibited without paying attention to the warnings of lifeguards, and every year we witness the tragic death of people due to drowning.
He continued: “Unfortunately, many people who get caught in the rip currents of the Caspian Sea think that swimming in this sea is like swimming in a swimming pool and end up in a miserable situation.”
The head of Mazandaran lifeguard team said: But the condition of the Caspian Sea is beyond people’s imagination of the condition of swimming in the pool and even rivers, and this has caused a number of passengers who go to the sea to swim to drown.
He said: “This year, in the sea improvement plan, 1,500 lifeguards were deployed on the sea shores. In addition, 1,500 lifeguards are being provided by beach attendants and welfare service centers along the coast.
Karimian said: But ignoring the advice of lifeguards to swim in prohibited areas has caused people to drown and die in the meantime, and no one is to blame for their loss of life except for these people themselves.
Meanwhile, the CEO of Mazandaran Red Crescent Society, as the main guardian of drowning prevention in the Mazandaran Caspian Sea, previously informed about the lack of facilities and equipment needed by lifeguards and rescuers of this organization to help and provide services to victims of accidents.
Gholam Ali Fakhari, referring to the notification of the Governor regarding the selection of the Red Crescent Society as the person responsible for the prevention of drowning in the Mazandarani Caspian Sea, added: July 1st is the start of the sea project on the coasts of this province, and rescuers and drowning rescuers are present at the specified points. To prevent people from entering the prohibited swimming areas or to save possible drowning people from the sea.
He continued: Carrying out lifeguard inspection and rescue operations in the sea requires its own special facilities and equipment, which include jet skis and ambulances. The plan can affect the process of relief operations.
The CEO of Mazandaran Red Crescent Society said: Although consultations were held to deliver 10 ambulances from neighboring provinces and this equipment has been assigned to Mazandaran, the success in reducing the number of drownings on the sea coast depends on the people’s compliance with safety precautions.
He continued: This is an issue that is often ignored by travelers and non-natives who travel to Mazandaran and always causes tragic drowning incidents.
More than 15 executive and government agencies are involved in the implementation of the sea health plan, and previously there was no strategic plan and investment rail in the coasts of Mazandaran province, and the lack of such a strategy has fueled many challenges.
Mazandaran has 15 coastal cities, Mahmoud Abad with 30 km of free beach and more than 120 access roads with 16 plans, Babolsar with 27 km of coastline and 13 km of swimmable coastline are considered to be the most prominent central cities of the province in the implementation of this plan. .
The shores of the Caspian Sea are considered to be one of the most dangerous waters in the country, killing hundreds of travelers and natives every year. The variable depth, the presence of subsurface eddies, the constructions several decades ago during the receding sea and the entry of rivers and the creation of traction currents have caused the beaches of Mazandaran to host countless drownings and even use the unique capacities of this sector in different dimensions. has not been
