Kanani: The launch of Khayyam’s satellite is another golden leaf in the history of scientific honors of Islamic Iran


According to the foreign policy group of Fars news agency, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Nasser Kanani, wrote in a tweet tonight (Tuesday) regarding the launch of the Khayyam satellite: The launch of the Khayyam satellite into space is the latest achievement of Iranian aerospace scientists for peaceful purposes. It is another gold in the history of scientific honors of Islamic Iran.

He added: the brilliant path of scientific and technological progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran continues despite the sanctions and the maximum pressure of the enemies.

According to Fars, the Khayyam satellite was launched this morning from the Baikonur station in Kazakhstan, with the cooperation of Russia, by the Soyuz satellite carrier. The Iranian Space Organization announced that the initial stages of the launch have been successfully completed and the satellite is being transferred with the orbital transfer block to its final orbit, i.e. 500 km orbit. Referring to the success of this launch, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology announced: The first telemetry data of the Khayyam satellite was received at the ground stations of this satellite at the space bases of the Iranian Space Organization.

Now the full control of this satellite is in the space bases of Iran Space Organization (Mahdasht Space Base).
