The Ministry of Electricity of Iraq announced on Thursday that until the end of Arbaeen, the two provinces of Karbala Ma’ali and Najaf Ashraf have been exempted from the schedule of blackouts planned for the provinces of this country.

Brigadier General Ali Obeid, the head of Al-Sheib/Chadaba crossing, says that the number of daily Arbaeen pilgrims will increase as this ceremony approaches, and currently between 20,000 and 25,000 pilgrims enter Iraq daily through this crossing.
Mohammad Jassim al-Zubaidi, the commander of the Maysan operation, also emphasized in an interview with the Iraqi news agency that the command of this operation continues to send the Arbaeen pilgrims of Imam Hussein (a.s.) from the Al-Sheib border crossing to the center of the city of Al-Amara, and this command has allocated dozens of vehicles for the easy transportation of the pilgrims. and provides the necessary protection for all pilgrims.
In a statement on Thursday evening, Wasit Governorate of Iraq announced the official statistics of the number of pilgrims who entered Iraq from Zarbatiya (Mehran) border.
This governorate said in a statement: The number of pilgrims who entered Iraq from Mehran border crossing within the last 24 hours reached 128 thousand 51 pilgrims.
It is stated in this statement: More than 150 people are checking pilgrims’ passports at the Zarbatieh crossing day and night, and the pilgrims are being sent in specific groups according to the agreement with the Iranian side.
