According to the sports correspondent of Fars News Agency, Mehdi Fallah went to the mat in the final following the wrestling competitions of the Bolat Torlikhanov Cup. The tournament is being held in Kazakhstan.
In the 97 kg weight category, after a break in the first round, Mehdi Fallah crossed the Omalt Dadov Dam in Kazakhstan 4-1 in the second round and advanced to the semifinals. At this stage, he defeated Rustam Asokulov of Uzbekistan 3-1 to advance to the final.
In this match, he lost to Mathan Bashar from Turkey with a technical blow and won a silver medal. Fallah gave up the result while looking for a dock.
Earlier, Dadmarz, Nejati and Taheri won gold. Naserpour also won a silver medal.
