Kazemi Qomi: The participation of ethnic groups in the government is the solution to Afghanistan’s exit from the current situation

According to the correspondent of Fars News Agency’s Afghanistan website, “Hassan Kazemi Qomi”, the special representative of the Iranian president for Afghanistan affairs, who traveled to Islamabad on Friday morning to consult with Pakistani officials, published a report about his meetings on his Twitter page.
He wrote: In continuation of the consultation with the countries of the region, yesterday, during a trip to the brother country of Pakistan, there was a discussion with the officials of this country about the important issues of Afghanistan and bilaterally in a very positive atmosphere.
Kazemi Qomi added: The common thread of the negotiations between the two sides was the fight against terrorism, the formation of a comprehensive government, security and development in Afghanistan, and the creation of a stable and productive environment in the region centered on Afghanistan. There is scope for bilateral cooperation in Afghanistan.
The representative of Iran in Afghanistan continued: Both sides consider the participation of all Afghan ethnic groups in the government structure as one of the main ways out of the current situation. Discussing and exchanging opinions about the Tashkent summit was another topic of discussion. Security and sustainable development has been and is the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran for its neighbors and the region.
According to Fars report, “Hassan Kazmi Qomi” today met and talked with “Balwal Bhutto Zardari”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, on the sidelines of his trip to Islamabad.
In this meeting, while appreciating Pakistan’s constructive role in Afghanistan, Kazemi Qomi said: Peace and stability in Afghanistan is necessary for long-term security in the region.
The two senior officials of Iran and Pakistan also discussed the regional initiatives in the Afghanistan debate, especially the agreements related to the meeting of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighbors and the upcoming meetings.
Kazemi Qomi had also met and talked with his Pakistani counterpart “Mohammed Siddique” before this meeting.
About this meeting, Sediq tweeted: “We had a conversation with Iran’s special representative for Afghanistan regarding potential and important areas of cooperation. “Also, during this meeting, a consultation was held about the situation in Afghanistan and the region.”
Last Thursday, Pakistani media reported the visit of “Hassan Kazmi Qomi”, the special representative of the president for Afghanistan affairs, to Islamabad.
According to these media, issues related to border management between Pakistan, Afghanistan and transit in the region are among the issues of Kazemi Qomi’s trip to Pakistan.
Before this, Kazemi Qomi, Iran’s special representative, had traveled to several countries in the region, including Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, and had met and consulted with senior officials of these countries.
