Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences Adolescent Entrepreneurship Club will be launched
“Mohammad Rashidi” told IRNA on Wednesday: “In this club, in addition to focusing on appropriate training to turn a teenager into an innovative entrepreneur and teaching basic soft skills, face-to-face meetings with innovative entrepreneurs for effective role modeling and healthy and effective networking.” It is also considered among adolescents with an entrepreneurial spirit.
He said: “Now in some countries that have turned to this trend, it is possible for teenagers to talk about creative business ideas; These ideas are hammered out over time, leading to the growth of teens’ creative ideas.
The director of the Entrepreneurship and Employment Office of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences continued: “In some cases, even these ideas and theories are implemented by entrepreneurs and this will cause not only parents to realize that in order to have a sustainable business, their children can Get involved in certain academic professions, skills, and disciplines, but also give teens the confidence to articulate their mental ideas and seek advice from professionals and educated and active people in the field, then step on the path to employment.
He added: “The duration of this course is one and a half years, which is held in cooperation with the General Department of Labor, Cooperation and Social Welfare of the province and the Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology of students aged 12 to 15 and 16 to 18 years.”
Rashidi stated: Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences is the first university youth entrepreneurship club in the country that holds this course and is for the children of professors and staff of the University of Medical Sciences.
According to IRNA, Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences has eight faculties: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing and Midwifery, Health, Nutrition, Paramedical and Sanghar and Keliai Schools of Nursing.
There are 85 fields of study in Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences in different levels, of which 14 fields are in PHD (specialized doctorate) and 20 fields in specialized assistantship, three general doctoral fields (medicine, dentistry and pharmacy), 25 master’s fields , 22 undergraduate and 2 associate degree.
The university also has 453 faculty members.
There are 116 foreign students studying for a doctorate in medicine, dentistry and pharmacy at the university.
According to statistics, more than 800 articles are produced and published annually in Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences.
