Kermanshah’s cultural heritage sites host Nowruzgahs

ToArya Heritage Report quoted Dariush Farmani from the Public Relations Department of Kermanshah Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Directorate on Wednesday, March 24, appearing on Kermanshah Radio’s Hiyafat program, announcing that the executive headquarters of Kermanshah travel services is in full readiness to welcome Nowruz travelers. Since the month of February, the meetings of the travel services headquarters have been held in the province under the chairmanship of the honorable governor, and so far more than 33 meetings have been held in the province.
Head of Kermanshah’s General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, referring to the intensification of supervisory visits these days, added: since the beginning of this month, supervisory teams have put the task of monitoring accommodation and catering facilities in coordination with other agencies.
He added: From March 25th until the end of Nowruz holidays, special surveillance visits of tourism facilities will be conducted.
Farmani said: In terms of accommodation, more than 5,000 beds in centers licensed by the General Directorate and 110 schools with the capacity to accommodate 5,000 people at night in Kermanshah province are ready to receive Nowruz guests.
He continued: Also, three points of Kermanshah city have been considered for temporary accommodation with the cooperation of the municipality, and the necessary arrangements have been made with the police force for the security of these places.
Head of Kermanshah’s General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts said: Sports halls are ready to receive tourists due to adverse weather conditions in cooperation with the Sports and Youth Department.
He added: In order to introduce the province to tourists, in addition to installing banners in the province, more than 20 types of brochures have been prepared, which are presented to tourists at the information kiosks at the entrance of the cities.
Farmani continued: Also, this year, the Kermanshah patrol system has been launched in the virtual space with the focus on the private sector, which is available to tourists through QR code.
He said: Nowruzgahs and cultural programs are held in the national and international bases of the province to create a lively atmosphere for tourists.
The Head of Kermanshah Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department said: These programs are designed with the aim of increasing the stay of tourists, among which we can mention the Shahnameh reading program and the performance of 100 tanbours in Taqbostan area, Bistun Grand Nowruzgah, Daf playing program in Oramanat.
