Khazaei among East Azerbaijan cinema activists: Decentralization and strengthening production flow and infrastructure development are our concerns

According to Fars News Agency, the Deputy Minister and Head of the Cinema Organization of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance said in a cordial meeting with East Azerbaijan film and cinema activists: “Decentralization and strengthening of existing infrastructure in cities is the main priority of the organization.”
He said that the artists are looking for respect and respect from the authorities more than financial support, noting that if the dignity and status of the artists are properly recognized and respected, the desire to produce magnificent and quality works will definitely increase.
In another part of his speech, Khazaei stated that the correct illustration of Tabriz, Azerbaijan and Iran is very important and is the responsibility of film artists: “It is very important for the world to have a mental image of this region and the name of Iran.”
He continued: “The nature of presenting cultural products is changing, but there is a need for specialized human resources as the capital of any country under any circumstances, staying and trying for cultural affairs and national achievements is very important.”
Khazaei pointed out: Cinema can be a culture maker and solve the problem of nations and governments, many countries in the Persian Gulf have the best cinematic technologies, but because they do not have expertise and specialized manpower, they do not have cultural and artistic impact in the international arena.
The Deputy Minister and Head of the Cinema Organization of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, stating that we are looking to discover new talents in the cities, said: “Supporting artists and filmmakers in the city is the main priority of the Cinema Organization.”
Seyed Ghasem Nazemi, Director General of East Azerbaijan Islamic Culture and Guidance, said in a symposium with the Deputy Minister and Head of the Cinema Organization of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance with East Azerbaijan Film and Cinema Activists: We are, perhaps due to a lack of mutual understanding.
He considered the initiative of the country’s cinema organization in provincial trips and meeting with relevant officials and institutions as an opportunity to solve the existing problems and said: with a realistic view and recognizing the existing capacities, a logical conclusion can be reached and the result will be prosperity and evolution of the province.
Nazemi continued: “Tabriz has a significant record in the field of cinema and Azerbaijan has huge capacities, the example of which is evident during the past decades and the honoring of artists in national and international festivals.”
He said that the lack of necessary infrastructure has led to the migration of some artists active in this field from the province, adding: Upstream institutions have an important responsibility to solve such problems, because the production of quality and reliable content is possible without regard to specialized manpower will not be.
Referring to the holding of the Vahdat Film Festival in Tabriz during the 60s and 70s in Tabriz, Nazemi noted: The closure of this festival on the one hand and the lack of professional and international film festivals in the field of film and cinema on the other hand led to forgetting the capacities that today We desperately need them, I hope we will once again see the holding of serious and professional festivals in Tabriz with the support of the Cinema Organization.
It is worth mentioning that at the end of the meeting, a number of East Azerbaijan film and cinema activists were honored by the activists in this field while raising the issues and problems of the province’s cinema.
