This documentary, directed by Mino Khani and produced by Seyed Jamal Nahoi, will be watched on the eve of the Holy Defense Week on Tuesday, September 29 at 21:50 on Panj Sima.

Khani, the director of “Khorramshahr population of 80 million people” said about this documentary: Basically, Khorramshahr and the war in this city is a turning point in the history of holy defense. Therefore, the liberation of Khorramshahr is considered one of the honors of the holy defense.

He continued: In this program, by avoiding rebroadcasting documentary images and videos from the days of war in Khorramshahr, we tried to address the metatext of the war, that is, literary and artistic works on the subject of Khorramshahr. Focusing on the literary and artistic works created on the subject of Khorramshahr, this documentary explains to us what special role Khorramshahr had in the history of the imposed war.

Referring to the choice of the name of this documentary, Khani said: “Khorramshahr population of 80 million people” was inspired by the placard that martyr Behrouz Moradi, the compatriot of martyr Mohammad Jahanara wrote at the entrance of the city after the liberation of Khorramshahr, “Khorramshahr population of 36 million people” was chosen. . On that day, martyr Behrouz Moradi wrote this placard with a sense of patriotism and wanted to say that all of Iran is behind Khorramshahr.
