Kuwait’s plan to transport Iranian pilgrims to God’s house by land


According to the report of the international group of Fars News Agency, the Kuwaiti newspaper “Al-Qabas“, on Tuesday evening, announced that the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of this country is coordinating to review a plan by which Kuwait will become a station for the ground transfer of pilgrims to the House of God.

This Kuwaiti media quoted informed sources and wrote that the aim of this project will be to welcome one million pilgrims to the House of God annually who will travel by land from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia.

According to this report, if the plan is approved, some countries, including Iraq, Iran, Bosnia and Chechnya, will allow their nationals to travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj and Umrah by entering Kuwait.

At the same time, Al-Qabas pointed out that this project will bring significant economic benefits to Kuwait, and for its implementation, only a mechanism for the passage of pilgrims to the House of God or allowing them to enter and stay in Kuwait for a certain period of time will be considered with a visa. .

This Kuwaiti newspaper stated that if the plan is approved, the Ministry of Interior of Kuwait will determine the necessary mechanism, adding that the pilgrims of the House of God will travel from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia based on a pilgrimage and tourism program with the coordination of the relevant authorities.

According to this report, the Kuwaiti authorities will hold a meeting after the holy month of Ramadan to review the most important clauses of this plan.
