Laughing at my new movie is legitimate and allowed/not competitive

Charso Press: According to the public relations of Bahman Sabz Institute, on the evening of Sunday, November 7th, the public screening of the movie “Gijgah” was held at the Mellat Cinema Campus with the presence of the film crew and a group of cinema lovers.

Before the screening of the film, Adel Tabrizi told the audience: My goal in making “Gijgah” was to make a film with morals and respect.

Tabrizi then thanked Hamed Behdad and said: I have learned a lot from him, he is very literate and familiar with literature and poetry. I told him the idea of ”Gijgah” in 1993, and Hamed analyzed that idea and became my motivation to make this film.

Hamed Behdad thanked Adel Tabrizi’s words about himself and called the film “Gijgah” a nostalgic comedy film and said: This film has no competition with any other work, neither before nor after it. In its genre, it is made very politely, morally, with modesty and decency.

Behdad went on to say: I have been going to the cinema for some time and in the works I saw and wanted to laugh, I felt that this laughter was not legitimate and the love shown was not pure. After a long time, I see that laughter and happiness are legitimate and allowed for watching a movie like “Gijgah”. As the expression of love and feelings was respected in the past, this nostalgic comedy also has a noble story and preserves the sanctity of love.

At the end of the ceremony, the director of “Gijgah” thanked all the actors and asked the audience to clap their hands and keep silent for a minute in respect of the late director Dariush Mehrjooi.

The public screening ceremony of the movie “Gijgah” directed by Adel Tabrizi, which is being screened since October 18, was held on Sunday night at Mellat Cinema Campus.

Adel Tabrizi, the director, Hanif Sarvari, the producer, and Hamed Behdad, the lead actor, and Maryam Hemtian and Ali Rad, the other actors of this film, watched the film while attending the ceremony.
