Asus Co New gaming laptop ROG Zephyrus G14 launches with AMD’s Ryzen 9 8945HS processor. The ROG Zephyrus family is getting Hawk Point processors. A leaked Geekbench benchmark has revealed ASUS’ plans to include a Ryzen 9 8945HS processor in the upcoming ROG Zephyrus G14 GA403UV gaming laptop. This leaked information indicates the continued cooperation between Asus and AMD for next year.

Asus has always been at the forefront of using the AMD Ryzen processor series in its laptop production line. A few years ago, the company even received exclusive custom HS processors with a maximum power consumption configuration of 35W ahead of other manufacturers. Over time, Asus has seamlessly integrated AMD processors into ROG laptops, 2-in-1 systems, and subsequently the ROG Ally handheld console.

Specifications of ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptops that will be released soon

The current generation of the G14 (GA402) model has the same specs as the Ryzen 9 7940HS and RTX 4090 laptop GPU. Notable features include a fourteen-inch Mini LED 16:10 screen and an advanced cooling system with a vapor chamber and liquid metal. This model is currently available as one of the most advanced gaming systems of Asus.

The Ryzen 9 8945HS CPUs serve as a replacement for the Phoenix Point APU, featuring the same configuration with 8 Zen4 cores along with SMT support and a boost clock of up to 5.168 GHz. This is the highest processor in the new Hawk Point series, with a default maximum power consumption adjustable between 35 and 54 watts. According to AMD, this processor boosts artificial intelligence performance thanks to a 60 percent speed boost for the integrated XDNA1 core.

The future of ROG Zephyrus processors and the Transcendence CES 2024 event

Asus has yet to announce its ROG Zephyrus processor lineup for 2024. However, the company has already announced its Transcendence CES 2024 event on January 9. The company is expected to introduce some new mobile products, including systems equipped with Intel’s Core Ultra 100 series, 14th generation Core HX and AMD’s Ryzen 8040.
