Lavrov and Blinken discuss revival of Burjam – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

Russia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had a telephone conversation with his US counterpart Anthony Blinken on Wednesday about the revival of the UN Security Council.

The two sides discussed the prospects of restoring the full implementation of the IAEA Board to resolve Iran’s nuclear program, as well as a number of issues related to the bilateral agenda, the statement said.

The conversation was initiated by the American side.

Lavrov is also scheduled to meet today with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
