Lebanon launches 2 port projects for oil activities

According to the report of the International Economic Group of Fars News Agency, quoted by covenant“Ali Hamieh”, Minister of Transport of the Government of Lebanon, announced two major projects to secure logistics services related to oil activities.
He explained in a news conference from Beirut port today that the first short-term project requires the allocation of 34 thousand square meters of land in Beirut port to be rented by companies providing these services.
Hamieh added: The second project, which is a long-term project, requires the construction of a new port for logistics services related to oil activities. .
The Lebanese minister said: We do not interfere in the work procedures of Total (a French investor in the oil and gas fields of Lebanon) and our role is to provide conditions in Lebanon, and companies should provide themselves with the necessary conditions so that by improving their level, they can Totally interact.
After five months have passed since the signing of the border demarcation agreement between Lebanon and the Zionist regime after long indirect negotiations between the two sides, the issue of extraction from Lebanon’s gas fields to free this country from the severe economic crisis is more serious.
A gas extraction contract was signed between the Ministry of Energy of Lebanon and a consortium consisting of the companies “Qatar Energy”, “Total” of France and “ENI” of Italy in Beirut. and according to the provisions of this contract, Lebanon Lebanon will own 35%, Total and Ini 35% and Qatar Energy 30% of the shares of this consortium.
According to the French Total company’s plan to the government of Lebanon, the drilling operation of these gas fields will be completed by the end of the year, and the profit from the sale will be determined after the completion of the drilling and extraction operations and the exact determination of the available gas volume, and Lebanon’s share of the sale will be determined. Gas is estimated between 54.9% and 62.7%.
With this account, Lebanon’s income from the sale of gas from only three gas fields is billions of dollars, which can save the country, as Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, has emphasized regarding the critical conditions of the Lebanese economy.
In recent years, by imposing economic sanctions on Lebanon and creating political intrigues, the American-Arab axis sought to weaken the resistance in this country, and now this national wealth of Lebanon can save the country’s economy from the pressure of foreigners and move towards independence and self-sufficiency. take away
