According to Lenovo, the Legion 9i will have the world’s slimmest water cooling system on the market. During the official unveiling, a representative of Lenovo showed a slide showing that this cooling mechanism is activated only when the system reaches a temperature of 84 degrees Celsius. This smart design eliminates the need for a liquid pump to run when the laptop is idle or not being used for gaming. In this way, the consumption of the device is greatly reduced and avoids unnecessary depreciation.

In addition, the cooling system of this device has three fans, however, there is still enough space inside the chassis to accommodate two M.2 2280 SSDs and two DDR5 DIMM slots (some configurations of this laptop are equipped with 2x32GB memory are DDR5-5600). Even with such a compact chassis, this laptop still packs a 99.9Wh 4-cell battery.

In terms of display, Lenovo has opted for a 16.3-inch 2K IPS display with a variable refresh rate that can go up to 165Hz. Previous information indicated that this is a mini LED screen. But the laptop, officially called PureSight Gaming, is adorned with a distinctive carbon finish that adds to its overall appeal and makes it one of the most unique laptops on the market.

The price and release date of the Lenovo Legion 9i laptop has not yet been determined, however, this system has been in production for some time, which means that we will soon see it enter the market.
