Letter from a group of Republican Republicans to Blinken opposing an agreement with Iran

According to IRNA, quoting the Daily Color, a group of Republicans on Wednesday sent a letter to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, in which they expressed concern about the possibility of reviving the nuclear deal with Iran.

The letter was first presented by James Kummer, a senior member of the House Oversight Committee, and was accompanied by Glenn Gratsman, a senior member of the House National Security Committee, along with Virginia Fox and other Republican members of the House Oversight Committee.

The letter called the idea of nuclear talks with Iran a bad idea and reiterated Iran’s accusation of supporting terrorism, saying that American taxpayers’ money should not be spent on such a country.

It is not clear what the Republicans in Congress meant in this letter from the spending of American taxpayers’ money.

The delegates also expressed concern that Iran might use its nuclear capability against the United States and its allies if it did.

The authors of the letter also expressed concern about the possibility of oil exports by Iran.

The letter was sent to Blinken as the US Treasury Department on Wednesday added one person and four entities related to Iran to the sanctions list.

Negotiations between Iran and the P5 + 1 have not yet reached a conclusion due to the lack of necessary political decisions in Washington. The United States withdrew from the nuclear deal in May 2016 and is still unwilling to take the necessary steps to return to the deal.
