Libya’s two-week oil production will reach 1.2 million barrels


According to the report of the International Economic Group of Fars News Agency, quoted by Arab News, the National Oil Company of Libya announced that it wants to increase its oil production to 1.2 million barrels per day in the next two weeks.

According to the company, the current oil production of Libya is 860 thousand barrels per day. After the cancellation of the state of emergency in the Libyan oil fields, a large number of oil units in this country have resumed their oil production.

Called; Khalifa Haftar’s forces had stopped the production of oil in the Libyan fields, but last week, the Libyan Prime Minister appointed a person as the head of the country’s National Oil Company, who was Haftar’s ally, and ended this deadlock.

Libya was able to increase its oil exports to 1.2 million barrels per day during the last year.
