The first HP Omen laptop review has been reported by Windows Report to VIDEOCARDZ.COM. They’ve obtained embargoed press documents, and it appears that HP has plans to launch the product at CES 2024. Specifications of HP Omen Transcend 14 gaming laptop

In addition, the 14-inch HP laptop has graphics options like the GeForce RTX 4050, the 4060 version, and even the 4070. That sounds great, but we don’t have any information on TGP, so the 4070 version might not be as good as some other thicker gaming laptop cases. On the other hand, to keep system temperatures down, there is a dual-fan cooling solution without heat pipes, apparently based on a vapor chamber design.
Given the size of this laptop, some features are obviously affected, such as reduced interface options as well as reduced space for airflow grills.

This product will continue to be marketed with two USB Type-C and USB Type-A connectors. In addition, users will also have access to HDMI and audio jack.
Another feature of this new laptop is a 2.8K (2880×1800) OLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It also supports variable refresh rate (VRR) in the range of 48-120 Hz and has 500 nits HDR brightness and full DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

This system is equipped with 16 or 32 GB of memory based on LPDDR5X 7467 specifications. They are soldered modules, so no upgrade options are available. What could change, however, are NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSDs, with HP offering 0.5TB to 2TB options in its new laptop.
According to HP, users should be able to use the device for 11.5 hours without recharging thanks to the 71 watt-hour battery. Those who like to use a charger should know that the Omen Transcend 14 laptop supports USB Type C 140W charging.
The dimensions of this system are only 31.3 x 23.4 x 1.8 cm and its weight is 1637 grams. Therefore, this laptop weighs about 600 grams more than the LG Gram 14 2023 model, which does not even have a separate graphic.
More details about these new laptops are expected to be officially released at CES 2024 early next year.
