“Lily mirage” is no longer beautiful

The tired sun slowly collects its dim and yellow light and goes to disappear behind the mountains. There is not a long way to go.
We are getting closer and closer. As soon as we reach the depth of the disaster, we have to go further to get to the heart of this sad tragedy.
The car slows down, the door of the first parking lot is closed. It is not far from the second door. We continue and reach the second parking lot. A young security guard is sitting on a worn chair that has been discolored by the sun, and when he sees a car, he immediately gets up to take the entrance, “a car of 20 thousand tomans”! For a place that no longer has any beauty.
We pass the guard and enter the parking lot. There are only a few cars parked here and there is no news of the crowding of the summer evenings of last year or even just a few months ago.
I get off, I pass over the fragmented pavements and the trees turned yellow, the awesomeness covers my whole being, this is no longer a mirage…
It is dry as far as the eye can see, and the lips of the earth are cracked and cracked due to excessive thirst. Only in a corner of the mirage, there are a few small puddles of water left, which seems to have no hope of lasting.
I look around to see if I can find someone, but there is no one here, as if they were scattered with dead soil… Only a few stray dogs, unable to walk due to hunger, are lying on the ground under the shade of pale trees. .
I climb the cement platform in front of the mirage fences, maybe I will find more space, on the other side of the mirage, a man with a five or six year old child are crossing the fences and entering the dried area of the mirage. They approach some small puddles of water left from the mirage, which are taking their last breaths.
There are many birds and ducks that used to fly in the azure sky of the beautiful mirage of Golan, and now their lives are tied to these two small springs.
My eyes follow the footsteps of the father and son, they are approaching two small water springs, there is something like a gun in their hands! The father knocks his knees on the ground and aims and shoots at the mourning birds and ducks. So easily….
There is no one to tell them not to do anything to these birds whose only refuge is these two small springs. We go down from the cement platform and I quickly pass through the cluttered space full of garbage until I reach the father and son of the hunter in Sarab Nilofar!
I film them, and when they find out, they come to me and express their regret for fear of getting into trouble, and then they run away in the blink of an eye.
Upset that there was no guard here to stop this brutality of the father and son, I turn my gaze to a corner of the mirage, an elderly man and woman are sitting in front of the dry and empty mirage, looking longingly at the land in front of them. I go to them, we have a short chat. The old man says that he came here for the last time about six years ago and was surprised to see the condition of Sarab Nilufar and was puzzled as to why the authorities abandoned it.
Old men and women stare at the empty mirage with deep sadness as I say goodbye. I take a walk around the area, a cool wind blows that announces the quiet arrival of autumn. The ominous crowing of crows fills the space, water pipes are left on the ground. The green space has completely dried up and there is no trace of its existence in the area anymore, and the trees that have turned yellow due to lack of water will completely dry up and die in these days.
I continue walking, it’s getting dark. In the distance, I see two young men who seem to be digging vegetables that have grown in a cozy corner of the mirage. I go to them, they have left their motorbike in a corner. I approach and talk to them. Both of them are from the village of Sarab Nilufar and they say that wild alfalfa grows here and they took care of it until the alfalfa grew.
I ask Sarab about his condition, and one of them quickly says: “A lot of deep wells have been dug around here, which are causing the mirage to dry up.” For example, there is a 25-hectare land right next to Sarab, which has two deep wells, and the owner has leased it to the people of Isfahan. When the wells of this land are closed for a few days, the mirage suddenly fills with water.
The young man, with a sun-burnt and stressed face, lowers his head and starts picking hay. He picks a few bunches of greens, raises his head again, glances at his friend who is quietly working and continues: “There are deep wells dug all around here, some of which are illegal, and every time they are filled with water.” They can open it again with a bribe. Because the authorized wells do not have smart meters, water is taken out of them unaccountably. They came a week or two ago and closed all the wells to install a smart meter, they all paid a fine of around 100 million tomans, and the wells resumed their activity.”
He ends his last sentence like this: “The authorities thought of the lotus mirage late”.
I say goodbye to these two young people. I’ve been walking around the grounds for about an hour or two and I’ve seen everything there was to see. I make my way towards the exit door when a man comes in front of me, it seems that he is from this area or maybe one of the employees of the complex. I go ahead to ask him a few questions before leaving.
He may not be more than 40 years old, but he hides his youth under the lines of wrinkles on his forehead and face. He is hesitant to interview. He puts a hand on his short beard and in response to why the mirage of Nilofar has come to this day, he says: “The private sector company that rented it is not to blame. Because there is nothing he can do. We want to water the green space of the area and its trees from the remaining mirage, but the water department does not allow it. If we don’t use the water from Sarab springs, where will we get water to preserve the trees and the green space”.
It’s almost dark now, I say goodbye to him and leave the lotus mirage….
According to Isna, this is the situation these days of Sarab Niloufar, a mirage that was once one of the most visited tourist spots in Kermanshah, but now, even during the tourist season, no one buys it anymore.
Sarab Nilufar has a winding story, a story of pain and suffering. It was only a few years ago that this endowment complex was handed over to a tourism company by its main trustee, the Kermanshah Justice Department, but the inefficiency and lack of attention of the officials of this company caused it to be handed over to a private sector company until last year.
Although it was hoped that with the handing over of Sarab Nilufar to the private sector, measures would be taken to improve its conditions, but after about a year, what can be seen shows that nothing new has happened in Sarab Nilufar even with the arrival of this company, and the conditions are still It is the same as before.
In the lotus mirage, nothing is the same as before, all the beauty of this mirage is gone. There is no green space to distract tourists, no cobblestones to walk on, and no water to make them fall in love. The booths have been closed one after the other because they are not bought. Stray dogs run wild. Birds are hunted. It’s scary here…!
All the devices shrugged
I ask the custodian of the private sector of this recreational tourism area, why this natural wonder of Kermanshah, which once had its own Burubaia, has suffered this fate, and he answers: Many deep wells have been dug in the lands around Sarab Nilufar, which no supervision Not on their water outlet. Most of the surrounding lands have been leased to the Isfahanis and Hamdanians, who, in order to make a profit, do multiple crops on these lands and grow water-rich crops such as potatoes, corn, watermelons, etc. They cultivate
Mohammad Reza Naqdi says that he, as an environmental activist, is also concerned about Sarab Nilufar and continues: It was late last year that considering the conditions of Sarab Nilufar, we had a meeting with the Kermanshah Prosecutor’s Office together with the trustees and told them I announced that with the current conditions of Sarab Niloufar, the summer of 1401 will definitely dry up and the wells should be closed, at which time the prosecutor gave orders and the relevant officials temporarily closed the wells, but they were opened again soon.
He also mentions the loss of the efforts of one of the researchers from Kermanshah, who had been trying for several years to return the lilies to Sarab, and says: “Unfortunately, all the lily plants of Sarab were lost during this time.”
I ask him about the reason for not taking care of the green space of the area and its trees that have gone dry, and he says: We used to draw water from the mirage itself to irrigate the trees and the green space of the area, but now that it has dried up and only a few small springs from The rest, considering that the irrigation of the green space there requires about 30 thousand liters of water per day, so it is not possible to remove this small amount of water from the mirage, that’s why we got help from various organizations this summer and the budget is about four million. Tomans of water were bought and transferred there so that we could keep the trees alive. Now that the weather is a little better and we are moving towards coolness, they need less watering, however, we have been able to keep them alive until now.
A reviewer says that the tourism of Sarab Niloufer has been destroyed and continues: With these conditions, we no longer see the presence of tourists in this area, and it seems that this area has lost its importance for tourism due to the indifference of the authorities, because in the past, During the summer season, at least 50 to 60 cars entered the area every day, but now it is less than five cars, most of them have no news of the mirage drying up and that’s why they come. In the meantime, the relevant agencies did little and each time we went to each of them, they just shrugged their shoulders and passed us on to another agency. We announced many times that the lotus mirage is disappearing, but no one paid attention to us.
I also ask him about stray dogs and the lack of cleanliness of the collection, and he answers: During the past year, we collected stray dogs in four stages, but some people come and leave the puppies there and This has made our work fruitless. On the other hand, when the lotus mirage is completely dry and no tourists come around, there is no point in cleaning it.
At the end of his words, this Kermanshah tourism activist complained about the various institutions that have done little in the issue of the Nile mirage, and asked the provincial judiciary, as the main guardian of this tourism complex, to think about how to get it out of its current situation.
In conclusion, it should be said, if we want to accept the reality, Sarab Nilufar Kermanshah has lost its tourism importance under these conditions, and the officials have played the biggest role in this. Sarab Nilufar can be revived and see its glorious days of the past, which shines like a bright gem, which requires the involvement of all relevant agencies and a more responsible view of the judicial system of the province as the custodian of this collection.
