Looking at cultural heritage should be scientific and expert
According to the Arya Heritage report and quoted from the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts of Mazandaran, Reza Sameh, on Wednesday 9th of April 1402, in a meeting with the Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts of Mazandaran, stated that surface studies should be done regarding historical works and monuments, and stated: It should be a scientific and expert cultural heritage and a scenario should be defined for encountering and confronting historical works and monuments.
The Director General of Bases Affairs of the country stated that the cave of Espahbad Khursheed Sawadkoh has a lot of capacity to attract tourists and continued: to visit the historical monuments, finding points on the way to rest and take pictures of tourists should be on the agenda.
Pointing out that all historical sites have works and architecture, Sameh said: The archaeological team must put collection of works and completion of the database on their agenda.
Regarding the historical city of Farah Abad in the Safavid era, the director general of the country’s bases affairs said: This historical city is the largest Islamic city in the north of the country, it has a lot of study value, and efforts should be made to develop and revive it.
He pointed to the acquisition, liberation around the palace and reconstruction of the historical city of Farah Abad Sari and added: It should be planned to attract tourists and develop tourism in the historical city of Farah Abad.
Sameh stated that considering Mazandaran’s many capacities and potentials, the introduction of attractions and historical monuments of the province should be included in the order.
The director general of the bases affairs of the country noted: the expert body of the bases should be active and the operational and specialist forces should work with optimal planning.
He stated that Farah Abad can be a tourist destination due to its proximity to the sea, geographical coordinates and historical city, and stated: National funds should be allocated for the historical city of Farah Abad.
Stating that Mazandaran has very good capacities in various fields, Sameh pointed to the case of the national road in Mazandaran and the establishment of a base in Swadkoh, and added: From next year, various programs will be held at railway stations.
The director general of the country’s bases emphasized the launch of a tourist train in Mazandaran.
