“Lovely Sky” became a finalist of the “Cartoon Club” film festival



The animation “Lovely Sky” written and directed by Amir Mehran, one of the new productions of the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents, became the finalist of the 39th International Film Festival “Cartoon Club” in Italy.

Charso Press: According to the General Directorate of Public Relations and International Affairs of the Center, this festival is one of the most well-known international Italian cinema festivals dedicated to animation.

This year, in the competition section of the “Cartoon Club” festival, the animated films of professional directors, Italian and foreign production companies and studios that have an overview of the growing trend of the animation industry and progress in animation techniques were selected.

Accordingly, “Ten Years” directed by Fatemeh Jafari, “Lovely Sky” directed by Amir Mehran and “Sempash” directed by Farnoosh Abedi were the animations of the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents who participated in this festival.

The animation “Lovely Sky” is a drama work that deals with the theme of war and its duration is 14 minutes and 10 seconds.

“Cartoon Club” cartoon film festival started in 1995 and a year later it was held internationally.

With more than 300 animated short films from 50 countries around the world, this festival has become a major event and awards various prizes to the best short animations produced in the world with the presence of hundreds of Italian and foreign guests.

The 39th edition of Cartoon Club International Cartoon Film Festival was held from July 19 to 25 (July 10 to 16) in Rimini, Italy.
