Majid Salehi creates “Sponsoring”.
Majid Salehi directs his second movie.
Charso Press: The movie “Zir Nazar” was Majid Salehi’s first directorial experience in cinema, which was made in 2017 and was released a year later, at the same time as the beginning of the epidemic in Iran. Now, five years after that comedy film, Salehi plans to make another film.
He has recently applied for a production license to make a film called “Sponsoring” produced by Ebrahim Amarian.
This actor, who recently received the Best Actor Award at the 40th Fajr Simorgh Crystal Film Festival for the movie “Number 10” directed by Hamid Zargranjad, had experience directing on television before, but has now reached his second directorial in cinema.
Salehi currently has two unreleased films “The Last Snow” and “Number 10”, “The Last Snow” was left over from the previous year’s festival; The film for which he was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor award.
After receiving Simorgh for the best actor this year, this actor said at the closing ceremony of Fajr: “Some days we are good and some days we are not good. We are not supposed to destroy everything when we are not feeling well, but we should be empathetic and not say that everyone who is unhappy with the situation should pack up and leave the country. We all belong to Iran.”
