Majid Salehi, Gohar Khairandish and… were travelers to the Cannes Festival
The list of the main actors of the movie “Verses of the Earth” which has been selected to participate in the Cannes Film Festival has been announced.
Charso Press: Yesterday, the name of the movie “Earthly Verses” directed and written by “Ali Asgari” and “Alireza Khatami” was announced in the Cannes Film Festival.
So far, this film is the only representative of Iranian cinema in the official section of the Cannes Film Festival.
Ali Asgari has previously participated in the Cannes Short Film Competition with the feature films “Disappearing” at the Venice Film Festival and “Taferda” at the Berlin Film Festival, and with the short films “More than Two Hours” and “Silence”.
Alireza Khatami has also received the screenplay prize of the Venice Film Festival with the film “Verses of Oblivion”.
