Charso Press: According to the public relations of Documentary Network, the documentary “Wildlife of Lisar” showing the beauty of the “Lisar” protected area of Gilan, produced and directed by Amir Shekargarz and the new productions of Sima Documentary Network, will be broadcast on the network on Friday (October 22) at 22:00.
About the subject of this documentary, Shekargar said: “Lisar” protected area is a spectacular part in the heart of Hyrkani forests in the west of Gilan province, Talash region, which is about 36 thousand hectares in size. This area starts from the edge of the Caspian Sea and continues to Neor Lake and includes coastal, plain, mountainous and forest areas. Biodiversity in this area is very high and its ecosystem is such that it allows all kinds of animals to live in it. For example, the golden eagle, which is at the top of the animal cycle, breeds in this area, which makes this area unique.
He added: In the documentary “Wildlife of Lisar”, we have introduced this area in a general way and depicted its different parts, such as plains, forests, wetlands, etc. On the other hand, we have gone to the animal species that live in this area and we have depicted many animals living in this area.
Shekargar said about his interest in making such a documentary: I am a retired environmentalist and I worked in this area for many years. That’s why I know this area very well. In this documentary, I have depicted the wildlife and ecosystem of this region. Golden eagle, mouse, snake, deer, sable, fox and jackal are among the animals shown in this documentary.
This producer and director also said about the production process of the Lisar wildlife documentary: It took several years to make this documentary, because I had to observe each and every animal and depict their lives in different seasons of the year.
In the end, Shokargar said: My experience as an environmentalist says that you should be alone to approach animals, because otherwise the animal will get scared and run away. Many of the images in this documentary were recorded with camera traps. However, this documentary was edited by Hamed Rahimi. My daughter and my brother also helped me in making this work.
