In a meeting held for this purpose with the presence of the representative of King Mansouri’s heirs, the mayor of Malayer, the deputies and the head of the special governorate of Malayer, “Hossein Farsi” announced the agreement between the municipality of Malayer and Mansouri’s heirs and said that this agreement was held after a long consultation. It was decided that Mansouri mansion would be owned by Malayer municipality.

The head of Malayer special governorate considered the preservation and restoration of historical monuments in the city as one of the important tasks and stated: Mansouri’s house is one of the important and historical monuments of this city. After the follow-up, this was achieved and it was decided that next week, according to the agreements made between the municipality and Mansouri’s heirs, the necessary measures be taken and Mansouri’s house be handed over to the municipality.

Of course, the efforts of the municipality and the support of the city officials in preserving the cultural heritage and historical monuments such as Mansouri Mansion, a mansion belonging to the late Abdul Samad Mansouri with an area of ​​2,850 square meters, the first floor with multiplicative and brick arches in the late period Qajar and the second floor was built in the Pahlavi era.

Mansouri Mansion was registered in the list of national monuments on December 4, 2001 with the number 4691, but in part of the darkest history of this mansion, this building was removed from the list of national monuments. In an interview with IRNA, the head of the Malayer Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Department, who has spared no effort to preserve this historical monument, said: “The restoration of Mansouri Mansion is beyond our control due to its removal from the list of national monuments, This building is in dire need of repair and reconstruction.

“Ebrahim Jalili” considered Mansouri’s mansion as an important historical monument and re-registered and restored this building after acquisition, Mansouri’s mansion announced the current priority and the title of cultural heritage to pursue the registration and restoration of this building.

Re-registration of Mansouri mansion; In the first priority

According to him, in the years when this building was removed from the list of national monuments, with the permission of the prosecutor, a minor renovation was done in this building and if the ownership of this building is finalized by Malayer Municipality, emergency parts of the building such as roofing and gutters will be restored.

He stressed: “According to the law of the Sixth Development Plan, the buildings owned by government agencies are obliged to restore them under the supervision of cultural heritage.”

The head of Malayer Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Department said: “According to the agreement we have made with Malayer Municipality, this building should be preserved by the municipality in its current and current form so that cultural heritage also participates in its restoration, while signing and promising.” We have also received it from the director general of the province.

After determining the task of Mansouri mansion, the mayor of Malayer considered the ownership of this building as one of the important demands of Malayeri citizens and said: “For this purpose, we pursued the ownership of Mansouri historical mansion and in several meetings an initial memorandum was signed with Mansouri heirs.”

“Majid Faraji”, who did not want the purchase amount of Mansouri mansion to be published in the media, continued: “The heirs of the mansion’s opinion is to buy this mansion in cash, and since the financial resources of the municipality are not enough to pay this amount, we consulted with Hamedan governor’s deputy for civil affairs.” Done.

He reminded: “Immediately after the final agreement with Mansouri’s heir, restoration work will begin immediately according to the Article Five Commission (Supreme Council of Architecture and Urban Planning).”
