Many of our historical buildings are disappearing

The Minister of Cultural Heritage and Tourism said: Many of our historical buildings are being destroyed and there is no credit for their restoration in the country.
According to Moj news agency, Ezzatullah Zarghami said on the sidelines of today’s meeting of the government board: private participation in the restoration, maintenance, administration and optimal and practical use of historical buildings with the specifications considered is one of the serious policies of the government. In this government, we have accelerated the dimensions of this work so that people can participate.
He added: Many of our historical buildings are being destroyed and there is no credit for their restoration in the country. After the restoration, there is the issue of their maintenance and management, which is a detailed discussion.
The Minister of Cultural Heritage and Tourism stated: People should participate in this field and the private sector can help in this field so that according to the auction this building is rented to people for a specified period and a specified amount to restore and maintain them and in areas which we confirm to be a good use for them.
Zarghami reminded: The supervision of these cases is with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage itself, and the buildings in question are not only not damaged, they are saved from damage. Otherwise, all this will become a gathering place for addicts and even stray dogs.
