He thanked the Islamic Consultative Assembly for approving the housing production leap plan and continued: “There are very good phrases in this plan that I hope this plan will lead to people becoming homeowners.”
The need to establish a national housing fund
A member of the Civil Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, referring to the holding of the first meeting of the Supreme Housing Council, said: “We expect the members of the Supreme Housing Council to have an effective and decisive presence in the services needed to produce millions of housing; Unfortunately, the former Minister of Roads and Urban Development disrupted the whole movement, and the housing that we were supposed to deliver in two to three years has not been delivered for 15 to 20 years.

Concluding housing construction contracts with construction companies

Shakeri added: “This year, a construction contract will be signed with construction equipment as well as eligible households.”
