According to the Mehr news agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations, announced in a Twitter message on Monday that he had met with EU Deputy Foreign Minister Joseph Borrell on the sidelines of a meeting to lift anti-Iranian sanctions in Vienna.
Russia’s Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) wrote in Vienna: “I had in-depth discussions with European Coordinator Enrique Mora about possible ways and means to speed up the nuclear negotiations and the lifting of sanctions (against Iran).
On the other hand, following the consultations of the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Vienna talks with the members of the P5 + 1 group in the eighth round of talks to lift sanctions, this evening a meeting was held with Ali Bagheri, senior negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran with Russia headed by Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s representative to international organizations, and the country’s chief negotiator were held at the Coburg Hotel.
“Yesterday, we had the same assessment,” he wrote yesterday in response to a tweet quoting Ali Bagheri, Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator in Vienna, as saying that differences over sanctions were easing. Progress is being made; But achieving the desired solution requires more time and effort.
It is worth mentioning that the eighth round of talks on lifting the sanctions started last Monday evening, two weeks ago, with the meeting of the Joint Commission chaired by Ali Bagheri, Senior Negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Enrique Mora, EU Deputy Foreign Minister.
