Mehr news agency denies the transfer of Russian nuclear technology to Iran Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr News Agency, quoted by Sputnik, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), has stated that he does not believe that Russia will receive combat drones from Iran in exchange for the transfer of nuclear technologies, because Moscow is one is a party to this treaty and does not itself violate the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) “as such”.
“It’s just speculation, because Russia is in the NPT, and I can’t imagine,” Grossi said at the Chatham House meeting in London when asked if Iran could supply Russian drones in exchange for nuclear technology. I want them to violate the NPT in such a blatant way.”
In his speech, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency also stated that he believes that the transfer of Russian nuclear technology to Iran cannot happen, because the International Atomic Energy Agency can see everything that is happening in the field of nuclear technologies and developments in Iran.
Meanwhile, Western countries have repeatedly accused Iran of providing war drones to Russia for use in Ukraine. Moscow and Tehran, however, reject these accusations.
Last week, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency announced that he would visit Iran in February to resume talks. Addressing the Foreign Relations Committee of the European Parliament, he said: I believe that I will probably go to Tehran in February to discuss this issue and other issues that I have described to you. Maybe for political talks with Iran, which is very necessary. I hope that we will make progress in this field.
Rafael Grossi said that despite the accumulation of nuclear materials, Iran has not carried out nuclear proliferation and that is why it is necessary to interact with Iran.
The Director General of the International Agency, however, described the JCPOA as a “hollow shell” and added that no one has announced its death, but the tasks are not being performed and all the restrictions in the JCPOA have been violated several times.
