According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the public relations of Radio Namayesh, the funeral of the living body of Mehrdad Eshghian, one of the veterans of radio shows, who died on the morning of Wednesday, May 7, due to cancer, was held yesterday, May 28.
At the funeral of the late artist, Mohsen Sohani, Director General of Radio and Radio Performing Arts, and figures such as Hamid Yazdani Abyaneh, Buick Mirzaei, Fereydoun Ismaili, Mirtaher Mazloumi, Fereydoun Mehrabi, Ghorban Najafi, Ramin Pouraimani, Mikael Shahr , Ali Milani, Hormoz Sirati, Farideh Daryamaj, Shahram Gilabadi, Mohsen Bahrami, Masoumeh Aziz Mohammadi, Nazanin Mahimani, Shamsi Sadeghi, Farshad Azarnia, Amir Zande Delan, Mohsen Javaheri and a group of radio and television artists were present.
Hamid Yazdani Abyaneh said at the beginning of the ceremony: “My dear Mehrdad, today all your loved ones and friends responded to the invitation.” I never thought this spring would be your last home radio show.
Bahram Ebrahimi further added: My acquaintance with Mehrdad dates back to the regional theater festival in Mazandaran province, Mehrdad was very regular and hardworking and respected everyone, he valued his job and in a word, his family and He loved his job.
Mikael Shahrestani also expressed his condolences to the family of the late artist and said: “His vacancy will never be filled.”
Following the ceremony, Mohsen Sohani, Director General of the Performing Arts of Radio and Radio, stated: I offer my condolences for the loss of our dear, honorable and beloved artist. In my opinion, Mehrdad Eshghian’s ideology and profession is the best consolation in this world. He was a concerned artist with a God-seeking outlook.
Shahram Gilabadi also said at the ceremony: I last saw Mehrdad in the notes he sent me. These notes were full of wounds and of course they remain trustworthy. He was very precise and orderly, and despite his illness, he did his best for his work. Mehrdad is present and in the presence of God, his memory is always with us.
Fereydoun Mehrabi also wished patience for the family of the deceased artist, saying: “We do not know the secret of leaving and if we know, we may be more patient.” There is a strange secret in the loss of radio show artists; That when a loved one leaves this collection, his goodness and good qualities appear in others, I wish patience for all and I hope that Mehrdad will pray for all of us.
The body of the late artist was buried in the company of his family and friends in the Behesht Zahra (PBUH) artists’ section.
