Memorandum of cooperation between “Film 100” festival and Youth Cinema Association/Azerpandar: We must be the connecting point for short and 100-second films.

According to Fars news agency, the signing meeting between the 13th International Film Festival 100 and the Iranian Youth Cinema Association was attended by Hamidreza Jafarian, the head of the policy council of the festival and the head of the Sore Cinema Organization, Yousef Mansouri, the secretary of the 100 Film Festival, and Mehdi Azarpandar, the CEO of the Youth Cinema Association, on Sunday 11 In January, it was held in the conference hall of the Surah Cinematic Organization.

2. Holding a short film launch event (pitching) during the festival by Soura Cinema Organization, with the focus of connecting investors to talented filmmakers to support applicants and awarding 3 credits for making short fiction films each up to 1,000,000,000 Rials to selected projects by the youth cinema association
3. Granting 2 credits for the production of short fiction films each up to 1,000,000,000 Rials from among the works entered into the competition section of the 13th 100 Film Festival by the Youth Cinema Association.
In the continuation of this meeting, Mehdi Azarpandar, director of the Youth Cinema Association, also explained about the signing of this memorandum and its goals: I am very happy that the “Film100” festival is going to be held again after several years.
He continued: “Film 100” festival has always been a festival with an identity, and today, with the cost of making movies for young people, it can be a turning point and a good entry into the field of filmmaking to create an incentive for filmmakers to produce a product, and if it is accepted by Follow that product for more serious work.
Azarpandar pointed out that we have to settle at a point to be the connecting link for the production of short and 100-second films, and said: As currently, the Young Cinema Association is connected to the Farabi Cinema Foundation and has connected the short film to the feature film.
