Mesgari’s art book was unveiled at the celebration of Fars World Handicrafts Day



According to the report of Arya Heritage and quoted by the public relations of the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts of Fars, in the commemoration ceremony of the World Handicrafts Day, which was held today, Sunday, June 28, 1402, in the Bostan Hall of the Saadi Mausoleum, with the presence of provincial officials, artists and handicraftsmen, from the book Copperplate art by Ahmad Bahmani was unveiled.

On the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony of the book on the copper industry, the deputy of Fars handicrafts said: perhaps it can be said that this book is one of the few books that have been written so far about the copper industry.

Behzad Ahmadi Farsani added: specialized introduction of arts and crafts fields is one of the goals pursued by this deputy.

He stated: Today, arts such as coppersmithing are on the verge of being forgotten, and effective steps must be taken to preserve and prosper this original industry.

The Deputy of Fars Handicrafts said: such works are one of the most important steps to preserve and promote handicrafts.

The book “Sanat Mesgari” by Ahmad Bahmani, Senior Handicrafts Expert of Fars General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, has been published and is available to interested people and researchers.
