“Military industrial spies” are coming to TV+film

According to Fars news agency, “Military Industrial Spies” directed by Mojtaba Minavand is a new production of Sima Documentary Network and will be broadcast from tonight (Monday, 17th of Bahman) at 22:30.

Minavand said about this documentary: The Sima documentary channel, which had previously aired a series titled “War, the emergence of military industrial giants”, continued the same topic and addressed a new topic with a different approach. This documentary series narrates the cases during which major espionage in industrial fields by some countries took place.
He added: “Industrial spies” is an international term, during which countries make intrusions in order to gain access to their rival’s industrial progress in order to obtain data and stop the progress of the rival country by sabotaging them. One of the most important cases is related to the Soviet spying on the American nuclear program during the Cold War.

According to Minavand, the documentary “Military Industrial Spies” in addition to showing cases centered on scientific and industrial espionage, also went to some military cases, among which the Vietnam War can be mentioned. In addition, spying on Iran’s nuclear program as one of the most sensitive scientific and military events in the country between 2000 and 2003 has been examined for the first time in this documentary. In this case, the CIA and the United States are carrying out espionage and sabotage activities with the intention of sabotaging Iran’s nuclear program.

He added: The research of this television documentary series started last year, and the research group has gone to various cases focusing on industrial and military espionage. The topics raised in the film are all based on documents and articles that can be traced in library sources. Archival images have also been collected according to these files.

The documentary series “Industrial and Military Spies” directed by Mojtaba Minavand will be broadcast every Monday at 10:30 p.m. on Mondays from 17th of Bahman and will be repeated on Fridays at 6:00 p.m.
