Minister of Economy: The legal resolution of digital currencies will be approved by the government in a few days – Erzdigital

Ehsan Khandozi, Minister of Economy, said that a resolution has been proposed in the economic headquarters of the government, which will be approved in a few days, and with this, for the first time, rules will be made in the field of digital currencies.

According to Erzdigital and to quote From the government’s information base, Khandozi recently said in an interview with a radio program regarding the payment of taxes by digital currency activists:

A person had 1,000 billion tomans in his account in one year, but he had not paid a single rial in taxes. We checked and found that this person is active in the field of cryptocurrency. One percent of this income is earned by entrepreneurs and producers with a lot of effort; But these people earn these incomes so easily without paying taxes.

Khandozi called the conflict of interests one of the obstacles to the formation of the economic republic and said:

The government should be able to play the role of facilitator. Conflict of interest was an important part of the work that was done. We tried to pave the way for people by facilitating the issuance of permits. We set up an inspection for this, and my colleagues in the field of deregulation and improvement of the business environment had a meeting with the managers of all the devices, and an effort was made to ease the licensing criteria by simplifying the regulations. Our impression is that with these policies we complete the components of a set.

He emphasized:

The effort was to create a new space. This cryptocurrency is not a bad place and it is a good situation, and instead of just saying that business means what the old people did, we should provide a mechanism for new businesses.

The Minister of Economy said:

I passed an important step this year and that is that until now some institutions were completely against cryptocurrency and we were able to convince them that these should be guided and monitored. If cryptocurrencies were used for foreign trade and there was no need for currency, we should kiss the hand of that economic operator.

Khandozi added in the end:

We have had a resolution in the economic headquarters of the government, which will be approved by the government board in the next few days, and rulemaking will be done for the first time in the field of cryptocurrency.

Nothing found.
