According to the Fars News Agency cinema reporter, Mohammad Mehdi Ismaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, stated: The issue of film smuggling is unfortunate. We will eliminate the possibility of stealing and smuggling movies.

While announcing this matter, the Minister of Guidance added: “I immediately asked the cinema organization to explain the issue of smuggling that happened to one or two films.”

He added: “It seems that the theft was apparently done by filming the screen; I think we need to put this together. The network we have for review and evaluation in the ministry is quite reliable, and no supplier has claimed that the theft occurred in the process.

Ismaili emphasized: “Now I have a plan to completely eliminate the possibility of these thefts by using knowledge-based companies and new technologies.”
