Ministry of Information blocks bank accounts of 454 currency violators and criminals in digital currency space

The Ministry of Intelligence said that recently, in cooperation with the Central Bank, it had blocked 9,219 bank accounts belonging to 454 currency violators. Some of these individuals allegedly misused digital currencies in their criminal activities.

With the monitoring and intelligence interceptions of this ministry, while overseeing the network of illegal foreign exchange brokers, secret and suspicious foreign exchange transactions and cryptocurrencies of the country, with the cooperation of the Central Bank and by order of a judicial official, 454 bank accounts of illegal foreign exchange agents were identified and blocked. .

With the implementation of the plan to deal with unauthorized foreign exchange agents in the recent period, 9,219 bank accounts with a turnover of more than 600,000 billion rials of these elements in the country were blocked.
