In the continuation of this meeting, Adnan Darjal, Minister of Sports and Youth of Iraq, while welcoming Arash Mirasmaili and the accompanying delegation, said: “I hope to see the growth of Iraqi Judo with the presence of the Iranian national judo team and the assistance of the Iraqi Judo Federation.”
He pointed to the policy of the Iraqi Ministry of Sports and Youth to benefit from foreign coaches in various fields and specified: “Considering the level of Iranian sports, Iranian coaches will definitely have a large share in this sector.”
During the official meeting, Mirasmaili met with Raad Hamoudi, President of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee.
“During the past month, during a visit to Iran by officials from the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, along with some heads of various sports federations, we signed a memorandum of understanding with Samir al-Musawi, president of the Iraqi Judo Federation,” Mirasmaili said.
