The Minister of Energy stated that we paid special attention to this project since last year and said: The water supply project to Hamedan did not make significant progress until last year, but due to the importance of water supply to Hamedan, we included this project as a special project.

In explaining the details of the water supply project to Hamedan, he added: This project is 140 kilometers long, with 1600 pipes, with a diameter of one meter and 60 centimeters, along with three pumping stations that pump water to a height of 600 kilometers in the mountains and deliver it to the treatment plant by a difficult route. Composed.

Expressing the latest status of the project, he said: This year, by mobilizing facilities and funds, we have put our efforts to finish the project as soon as possible.

Explaining the opening time of the water supply project to Hamedan, the Minister of Energy said: Phase one of this project can solve the water problem in Hamedan and we will try to put this project into operation in the next two to three weeks.

He continued: Currently, the drinking water of the people of Hamadan is supplied from the Ekbatan dam and also from the underground water sources, and due to the unfavorable conditions of the amount of rainfall in the Ekbatan dam, we have increased the amount of water withdrawal from the wells in order to supply drinking water sources.

In the end, the Minister of Energy emphasized the completion of the water supply project to Hamedan and said: With the opening of this project, the water problem of Hamedan will be solved in a sustainable way.
