Monsoon rains will continue for the next 5 days in the country/ 120-day winds in the eastern belt


According to Moj news agency, Sadegh Ziyaian, head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks, said about the country’s weather conditions: during the next three days, the intermittent passage of mid-level waves in the northern belt, as well as the continuation of the monsoon system in the southern half of the country, will cause Atmospheric instabilities. Based on this, on Saturday (August 8) in Gilan, Mazandaran, Golestan North Khorasan, North Khorasan Razavi provinces located on the southern slopes of Alborz and some places located in the northwest of the country, rain showers sometimes accompanied by thunder and strong winds and in the south of Sistan and Baluchistan Hormozgan , Fars, Kerman, south and west of Yazd, Bushehr, Khuzestan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyar Ahmad, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, half-west of Isfahan, east of Lorestan, Central, Hamadan and Qom, showers and thunderstorms and strong winds are expected sometimes with rising dust. Rainfall will be intense in the Alborz highlands located in the east of Tehran, Kohgiluyeh and Boir Ahmad, the northern half of Fars, the south of Isfahan and Kerman.

He added: Sunday (August 9) in East Azarbaijan, Ardabil, Gilan, Mazandaran and the southern slopes of Alborz in Zanjan, Qazvin, Alborz and Tehran, there will be rain, sometimes thunder and strong wind, also the rain will decrease in the southeast and in the form of showers. And thunderstorms will continue in Fars, Kohgiluyeh and Boyar Ahmad, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, East Khuzestan, West Isfahan, Central, Qom, Hamadan and East Lorestan. On this day, the rain will be intense in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, central Alborz highlands, southern Kerman highlands, northern Farsi and southern Isfahan.

According to the head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks, on Monday (August 10), rainfall will decrease in the northern region and it will be significant only in Mazandaran. On this day, with the strengthening of the monsoon system, rain will continue in the south of Kerman, north of Hormozgan, Fars and the slopes and heights of Zagros located in Kohgiluyeh and Boyar Ahmad, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and eastern Khuzestan, which is more intense in some parts of Fars and south of Kerman. On Tuesday (August 11), the rain continues in these areas in a light form.

He added: On Wednesday (August 12) there will be scattered rain in the northern part of the country, and on Thursday (August 13) stable weather will prevail in most parts of the country. During the next five days, with the continuation of 120-day winds, in the eastern part of the country, especially in the Zabul region, there will be strong winds. Strong wind, raising dust and decreasing air quality are expected.

According to Ziyaian, the Caspian Sea, the Oman Sea, the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz are rough today.

The head of the National Center for Forecasting and Crisis Management of Weather Risks stated about the weather situation in Tehran in the next two days: the sky in Tehran tomorrow (August 9) will be a little cloudy and sometimes partly cloudy with wind, showers and thunderstorms with a minimum temperature of 25 and a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius. And on Monday (August 10th) it is expected to be clear to partly cloudy and sometimes windy with a minimum temperature of 25 and a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius.

In the end, Ziyaian said: Today and tomorrow (August 8 and 9), Ahvaz is the hottest with a temperature of 42 and 43 degrees Celsius, and Ardabil is the coldest with a temperature of 14 and 15 degrees Celsius.
