More than 4,000 handicrafts of Semnan province will go to Astan Quds Razavi
According to the Arya Heritage report, citing the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Semnan Province, Samaneh Soltanipour said: With the joint cooperation of the Vice-Chancellor of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of Semnan Province with the Institute of Astan Quds Razavi Art Creations, an order to purchase more than 4,000 works of handicrafts artists was made. Semnan Province was presented by Astan Quds Razavi.
The head of the deputy of handicrafts and traditional arts of Semnan province added: This action was done for the first time in the country in Semnan province with the cooperation of Razavi service centers of Semnan province.
Soltanipour Babian said that Astan Quds Razavi has made purchases from most of the handicraft fields in the province. Considering that Semnan is the creative city of pottery and ceramics in Iran and some of the handicraft products in this province are special and unique, this institution in the fields of pottery and ceramics , rugs, leather, wood carving, pen-making, enameling and needlework of Semnan province, and some works with custom designs of Astan Quds Razavi will be produced by the artists of Semnan province.
Regarding the two-day trip of the officials of the Astan Quds Razavi Institute of Artistic Creations to Semnan, he added: On the first day of this trip, a handicraft exhibition titled Handicrafts for the Love of Imam Rauf, with the display of production works related to Imam Reza (a.s.) and the Razavi shrine, with the aim of familiarizing and introducing the handicrafts of Semnan province and creating a connection between artists with Astan Quds Razavi Institute of Artistic Creations was held by the General Department of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts of Semnan Province, and after that the officials of this institution visited the handicraft booths of Semnan Province in the Shahmirzad Culture and Art Festival.
Soltanipour said: Visiting handicraft workshops in Semnan, Shahrood, Damghan and Mahdishahr cities and placing orders with artists was one of the plans of the second day of the trip of the officials of Astan Quds Razavi Institute of Art Creations to Semnan.
The head of the deputy of handicrafts and traditional arts of Semnan province added: “Bazid and registration of orders from workshops and artists of other cities of Semnan province will be part of the schedule of the second trip of the officials of this institution in the coming months.”
