Moscow addresses Biden: Russia’s blame for rising inflation in the United States is an escape from responsibility

According to IRNA on Saturday night, quoting the Tass news agency, Polyansky wrote in a Twitter message that the US President’s attempt to blame Russia for the increase in inflation in this country is unacceptable.
He added: “It seems that Russian President Vladimir Putin also rules the United States, because he can impose taxes on food and gasoline. This is an unacceptable and futile attempt by the US President to blame others and evade responsibility.
According to IRNA, US President Joe Biden on Friday in a statement given the staggering rise in prices in his country claimed that the fight against inflation is a priority of his government, but “the rise in prices is the result of actions of Russian President Vladimir Putin” and in May has had a profound effect on the United States.
Inflation rose to 8.6 percent in May, according to the US Department of Labor, and prices soared to its highest level in 40 years.
This inflation rate keeps spending pressure on American households and exacerbates the political crisis of Democratic President Joe Biden.
The US Department of Labor announced on Friday local time that the consumer price index, a broad measure of the price of everyday goods, including gasoline, food and rent, rose 8.6 percent in May from a year earlier.
The president added on Friday that high gasoline prices at gas stations, energy and food prices accounted for about half of the monthly price increase, and gasoline prices in many parts of the United States since Russian forces threatened to use force. Ukraine started, rising by $ 2 per gallon (about 4 liters).
Meanwhile, the global price of gasoline in the United States exceeded $ 5 per gallon at a time of economic hardship and rising inflation.
