Moscow: Tomorrow’s talks between Lavrov and Amirabdollahian have been postponed – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news



According to Mehr news agency, citing Sputnik news agency, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement today announcing that the talks scheduled for January 17 (tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27) between Lavrov and Iran’s Foreign Minister have been postponed to another date.

According to this news agency, in the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, there is no reason to postpone the date of this meeting.

Meanwhile, Hossein Amirabdollahian will meet and consult with a number of senior officials of this neighboring country on his trip to Turkey tomorrow, Tuesday.

It is expected that the main focus of this trip, in addition to consultations on bilateral relations, will be the latest developments in Syria and the recent meetings between the defense ministers of Syria, Russia and Turkey.

Also, it seems that during this trip, the officials of the two countries will also consult and discuss the time of Seyed Ibrahim Raisi’s upcoming visit to Turkey.
