Charso Press: According to the public relations of the General Administration of Performing Arts, the second policy meeting of the 41st Fajr International Theater Festival with the presence of Kazem Nazari, Director General of Performing Arts and Festival President, Koresh Zarei, Secretary of the 41st Fajr International Theater Festival, Iraj Rad, Bijan Nobaveh, Gholamreza Montazeri, Ali Montazeri, Tajbakhsh Fanaiyan, Mina Bagheri and Hossein Musafir Astane, members of the Policy Council, were held in the morning of Wednesday, August 19, 1401, in the conference hall of the Music Department.
While welcoming the members of the 41st Fajr International Theater Festival’s Policy Council, Kazem Nazari, Director General of Performing Arts and Festival Director, said: “We hope that the call for the 41st Fajr International Theater Festival will be published soon with your expert and careful attention and will reach the fans and participants of the festival.”
He continued about the participation and active presence of the provinces in the 41st festival: In the General Department of Performing Arts, we go from province to province and deliver the call to them according to the new policies and set a separate budget for provincial festivals so that good works Fajr will arrive this year.

Zarei said about the participation of the theater associations and the general administration of the provinces of the country: In the future, we will have cordial meetings with the general managers of the provinces and the performing arts association of the provinces about provincial issues and improving the performances in the provincial department.
After the words of the festival secretary, Iraj Rad, a member of the policy making council, said about the presence of provincial groups: provincial groups should see all the performances, they cannot come the night before the performance and leave early, there should be meetings and research and educational meetings for provincial artists so that become a way to continue their path. In the continuation of the meeting, Tajbakhsh Fanaiyan emphasized the presence of more Iranian shows, especially impersonation, ta’ziyeh and the character of Mubarak, in national festivals.
Bijan Nobaveh, another member of the Policy Council, emphasized the purposefulness of the works participating in the festival and explained: All plays must have a purpose, even comedy plays have a purpose. Theater should bring joy to our society and we should have a serious approach to the content of Fajr theater works.
Saying that the burden of all the country’s theater issues is not on the shoulders of the Fajr Festival, the former secretary of the Fajr Festival, Musafir Astane, said about the budget of this artistic event: the significant increase in grants is very appreciable and gratifying.
Gholamreza Montazeri, referring to the necessity of thinking together with theater veterans, said: We must involve all of Iran in Fajr Theater Festival. The festival should be another opening for enthusiasm, vitality and social freshness during the revolution celebrations.
